Are you a citizen of the Union of Democratic States? If so, you should vote for Asdersland for Prime Minister and Delegate in the elections on December 20th.
(If not, you can still apply and gain voting privileges. Depending on when you read this, you could still vote in the election. And I strongly encourage you to do so!)
Here’s why:
The Union faces a unique challenge, that of inactivity and lack of community that comes hand in hand. We’ve been filling in the holes, but this is a team effort. We can’t do this alone and we can’t do that without a capable, effective, and visionary leader to bring us into the new year.
That is who I am. I’ve dedicated my entire NationStates presence to the Union of Democratic States, having faithfully served this Union since I was appointed to the office of Minister for Education back in June 2017.
With that in mind, I look to unite the past, present, and future of the Union to ensure our success, and I plan to do so by:
Should I be elected, my administration will quickly set itself to complete these missions. My administration, which will involve newer members of the Union with fresh perspectives, will set itself past the deadlock and inactivity that has plagued the Union of the past. It should be obvious that an experienced and yet newer perspective belongs to Senator Tanisha (also known as the Second United States Republic), who I have brought on as my running mate for Deputy Prime Minister.
I hope to have the backing of our Union when you go to the polls, and with your vote, we can make the future of the Union bright. Vote Asdersland for PM/Del on 20 December.
Sincerely,
Asdersland
(Sometime this week before the election I plan to release a longer manifesto with more details.)

With that in mind, I look to unite the past, present, and future of the Union to ensure our success, and I plan to do so by:
- Reinvigorating the UDSAF, which has seen no major action in almost eight months
- Reforming our government with the implementation of a better constitutional model on which I am working on personally (along with others’ models as proposed)
- Reinventing the Union through the use of more innovative methods for interaction and community, including the use of multiple methods of communication and community enjoyment
- Reinsuring the success of our government by enforcing activity and integrity throughout
- Reaffirming our foreign presence by revamping the Interregional Olympic Games that Kanglia and I created, increasing activity with our embassy regions, and finding more ways to branch out to the wider NationStates community
- Respecting the process of the World Assembly and the citizens’ influence over the WA Delegate’s actions, while increasing our influence in the World Assembly through the continuation of policies and programs increasing our endorsement count and especially our activity in the WA.
